Meteorite may have seeded life on Earth.

Life on Earth probably originated elsewhere. Life may have started in space and come to Earth on comets.

The new research suggests that the meteorites, which carry with them records of chemistry in theearly solar system, may have seeded Earth with the molecular precursors of life.

a group of U.S. researchers has found evidence of emission of extraterrestrial nitrogen by a primitive meteorite.
Nitrogen is a chemical element essential for life, found in all terrestrial organisms.
Studies with the Murchison meteorite, which reached Australia in 1969 showed that the rock is also rich in organic compounds

The origin of life on Earth is a very deep mystery and many scientists are convinced we need to look outside our own planet for an explanation.

One obvious objection to any form of exogenesis is that we have simply transferred the problem elsewhere — we have still not answered the question of how, when or where life began.
‘life’ may be as ubiquitous as hydrogen and helium, and that at night we are peering into a cosmos that is, quite literally, hopping with life and life, moreover, as we know it.

Until recently a big argument against this idea was the belief that life forms could not possibly survive the rigours of deep space.

It is now known, however, that some bacteria, viruses and even primitive animals such as the tiny insect-like eight-legged tardigrade — an earthly creature which scientists have taken into space — can easily survive, perhaps for millions of years, in the radiation-bathed vacuum of space.

US society illness: how weird, males would "stalk", threaten, harm females, out of cultural and mental criminal deficiency.

US male controlled, owned, dominated violent society practically allows it to happen.

How weird : "restraining order" in a society that labels itself democratic, free, advanced, civilized.

Court has to "order restrain" a male from annoying a female that he knows with his presence.

How deficient, childish, uncivilized is that?

"Shelters for battered women", how scary a sad testament of a half barbaric violent male culture.

It should be males being cast out of homes and into safe house shelters.

U.S. Decline in Global Arena: Is America No Longer No. 1? Cut the huge GM- Government Military $1 trillion a year unnecessary military budget first.

  • my comment:
GM - the article still doesn't even mention the single biggest driver of a huge US deficit - and that is GM - Government Military.
This welfare vehicle drains altogether $1 trillion a year from taxes.
Needs to be cut in half to start with, the country still will be supremely defended, in an unmatched way.

Other huge problems are runaway globalized elite ruling in a one party system - DemReps, meaning no real free national discussion or policy choices.

This ruling monopoly started to disregard interests of the USA - wholesale exporting industries abroad, thus raising taxes and shifting prosperity away from US,
running and maintaining huge deficits,
running a megafraud inefficient medical system Medicare, Medicaid.

The worst, but potentially efficient and proven way to "end on top", is to colonize other countries, draining their resources out of existence.

It reflects well the fatal nature of mankind as aggressive, looting creatures ready to commit crimes in order to seek their own wealth.

I suggest any person, which draws a majority of their income from China, India, Taiwan, and any foreing asset investments and properties, should be disqualified from sitting in The US Congress and set or sell policies of the country.
Just as foreign born person cannot become a president.

  • the article:
.... We have the most guns. We have the most crime among rich countries. And, of course, we have by far the largest amount of debt in the world.

.... Harvard historian Niall Ferguson, who has just written a book, Civilization: The West and the Rest, puts things in historical context:

"For 500 years the West patented six killer applications that set it apart.

The first to download them was Japan. Over the last century, one Asian country after another has downloaded these killer apps — competition, modern science, the rule of law and private property rights, modern medicine, the consumer society and the work ethic.

Those six things are the secret sauce of Western civilization."

‎... "reducing funds for education, scientific research, air-traffic control, NASA, infrastructure and alternative energy will not produce much in savings, and it will hurt the economy's long-term growth.

It would happen at the very moment that countries from Germany to South Korea to China are making large investments in education, science, technology and infrastructure.

We are cutting investments and subsidizing consumption — exactly the opposite of what are the main drivers of economic growth.".....

... all those interests are dedicated to preserving the past rather than investing for the future.

There are no lobbying groups for the next generation of industries, only for those companies that are here now with cash to spend.

There are no special-interest groups for our children's economic well-being, only for people who get government benefits right now.

The whole system is geared to preserve current subsidies, tax breaks and loopholes.
